Tagua
Tagua is a nut from a specific palm tree and it's called vegetable ivory because it's incredibly durable. It has been used for decades for various purposes, but in the most recent years artisans have discovered it to be a perfect, sustainable, natural resource for creating accessories and jewelry. Our carefully selected artisans harvest the tagua nuts, put them through a drying process, then slice or carve depending on the design. Finally, they add an organic vegetable dye, and polish them to turn them into unique, one of a kind pieces. Each piece of Adored's jewelry and accessories are 100% unique and could vary in size, shape, and color due to tagua's natural nature.
Acai
Acai berries are another abundant natural resource material of our jewelry. These seed berries are carefully and sustainably harvested from the Amazon rainforest in South America. Once the fruit is harvested, the berries are dried and dyed to create gorgeous one-of-kind jewelry!
